Our Mission Statement: To provide an independent, co-ordinated and consistent voice to speak to IFS about the products, portfolio and services that they and their partners provide: to enable access to a broad network of other IFS users; to share knowledge, ideas and experiences of using IFS.
As an IFS customer, you are already aware of the significant benefits of using IFS Applications to support your business. However, there are challenges associated with any system and some of these can be difficult to resolve without experienced external support. This is one of the key areas where the IFS UK&I User Group can help and I would like to briefly introduce you to the benefits of becoming a Member.
The User Group promotes and facilitates the exchange of information and opinions about the software. It organises regular meetings, seminars and workshops on IFS related subjects. In addition, UK and Ireland user issues and enhancement proposals can be coordinated through the User Group to influence future application development.
To encourage direct user-to-user communication, the User Group hosts this website, where Members can find useful information about forthcoming events and news from the User Group and other Members. Members can also view previous events including agendas and slides from those events. We facilitate a networking page which enables Members to easily communicate with other Members with similar interests, encouraging networking and assisting Members to discuss systems, processes and procedures with a view to achieving best practice. Passwords for Members are issued once Membership fees have been paid.
The IFS UK&I User Group is a non-profit making, unincorporated organisation and all of the committee members are volunteers who give their time for free. This enables us to keep the annual subscription charge to a very reasonable £300 +VAT per company to cover administrative and event organisation costs.
I hope you decide to join our ‘User Community’, but should you have any questions or require further information, then please do not hesitate to contact me on [email protected].
If your company is already a member of the User Group, you will be receiving an invoice for 2020 Membership during the week commencing 13th January 2020. As soon as we have received your payment, passwords will be issued for the website.
